1. Overview
PolicyForges, Inc. ("PolicyForges") is committed to delivering exceptional value to every customer. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, credits, and adjustments may be issued for subscriptions to the PolicyForges enterprise platform and services.
2. Free Trial Period
PolicyForges offers a 14-day free trial for new accounts with no credit card required. During the free trial, you have full access to the Platform features available in your selected plan. The trial period is designed to allow you to evaluate the Platform before committing to a paid subscription. No charges are incurred during the free trial period.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
3.1 Cancellation
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through your account settings or by contacting our billing team. Upon cancellation, your account will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
3.2 Refund Eligibility
Monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, PolicyForges will issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the current billing month if:
- A documented, critical platform failure prevented your team from using the Services for more than 72 consecutive hours during the billing period, and PolicyForges failed to provide an acceptable remedy.
- You were incorrectly charged due to a billing error on our part.
- Your account was charged after a confirmed cancellation request was submitted.
4. Annual Subscriptions
4.1 Cancellation Within 30 Days
If you cancel an annual subscription within 30 days of initial purchase and have not extensively used the Platform (as determined by our usage metrics), PolicyForges may issue a refund of the annual subscription fee minus a prorated charge for the days the Services were used.
4.2 Cancellation After 30 Days
Annual subscriptions cancelled after 30 days of purchase are not eligible for refunds. Your account will remain active until the annual subscription period ends.
4.3 Early Termination
If PolicyForges terminates your account without cause, you will receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your annual subscription.
5. Plan Downgrades
If you downgrade your subscription plan, the change will take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle. No refund is issued for the price difference between plans during the current billing period. Credits may be applied at our discretion for annual plan downgrades.
6. Plan Upgrades
When you upgrade your plan, the new pricing takes effect immediately. For monthly plans, you will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the billing period. For annual plans, you will be invoiced for the prorated difference for the remainder of the annual term.
7. Enterprise Contracts
Refund terms for enterprise customers with custom contracts are governed by the specific terms negotiated in the enterprise subscription agreement. Please refer to your contract or contact your Customer Success Manager for details.
8. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Professional services, implementation fees, and custom integration development
- One-time onboarding or training fees
- Add-on modules or feature packages once delivered
- Subscriptions where access has been suspended due to violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
10. Disputes and Chargebacks
We strongly encourage customers to contact our billing team before initiating a chargeback with their bank or credit card company. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension. PolicyForges reserves the right to dispute chargebacks that do not comply with our Refund Policy.
11. Changes to This Policy
PolicyForges reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and through the Platform. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
